eZ Publish and eZ Flow are not one and the same.
This can be a source of confusion for first time users.
eZ Flow is an extension, a plugin if you want to call it that, that adds functionality to a base eZ publish install. At first glance, it is difficult to grasp the distinction. The eZ Flow extension adds several multimedia classes and time line based publishing to a base install.
This site uses the eZ Flow extension. It is possible to install eZ Publish with the ezwebin extension, to get an entirely different site appearance.
These two extensions allow two entirely different design paradigms.
