Apply custom tint to image.

I just needed a little bit of tint on a picture of my face, to get a blue-in-the-face look.

You would think that is easy in iPhoto with all the powerful editing options. And it was very easy to get to a black and white, but no color tint options to be found anywhere.

Load the GIMP just for a simple tint job? There just has to be a better way. The light flashes on.

  1. Realize that terminal window background can be set for color and OPACITY.
  2. Overlay a terminal window with desired settings over the image.
  3. Capture the resulting image.

Another powerful, yet simple, way os X Leopard helps me get things done. At least I think this counts as getting something done?
